Welcome to Laidley District State School.

Whether you are a member of the Laidley District State School community or looking at joining it in the near future, I am sure that you will find the information that you require here. Our school is situated to the North of the centre of Laidley. Our facilities were constructed in 2000 and a still modern and well kept.

The entire team at Laidley District State school pride themselves on caring for every child at this school. The teaching team are experts in their field and are always learning more about their craft to ensure the very best teaching and learning occurs in every teaching space. As Principal I spend time knowing every child and ensuring that their learning and well-being needs are meet.

Recently our school has received awards for our work in community engagement, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), and indigenous education, which are recognised as best practice.

Our priorities for development over the next four years include the teaching of mathematics; building teacher expertise in innovative teaching methods through teacher collaboration; community engagement and reading.

If you are not already a part of the caring community at Laidley, why not make an appointment with the Principal to learn more about how we can work with you to make the best your child can be.
